UC Law San Francisco is California's first law school, founded in 1878. The vision of UC Law San Francisco is to create an Academic Village, bringing together students and professionals to live and learn in a collaborative higher education community. The Academic Village transforms two blocks right near San Francisco's City Hall into a hub of residential life, featuring state-of-the-art, competitively priced housing for graduate students, trainees, and scholars from across the Bay Area, along with access to the entire campus including meeting and study rooms, classrooms, a library, recreation, lounges, a cafe, and retail.
